When going through anything, one of the hardest lessons to learn, is to just breath. We put so much on ourselves with stress, worry, fear, and just bottle it all up. A deep exhale can open the flood gates to let all of that out.
I have always made a special connection with animals, esp dolphins, that not many people understand. They are so perceptive and healing like no other. During the pandemic I felt very lost not being able to interact with animals at local parks and zoos. We visited St. Pete area during these times when no one else was around. Before I could even sit on the edge of the seawall, a dolphin swam fast underneath me. I got so excited, sat down before I fell in, and got the camera ready. It then decided to come back slow, looking up at me through the water, and exhaled right under me. Misting water on me. I immediately broke down crying with so many emotions of happiness, wonderment, and all my anxiety left me. In that moment it showed me, I wasn’t alone, it’s ok, just breath. Exhale the past, Inhale the Future.
